Because we work in the mining industry, particularly on gold mines, there are some basic minimum requirements for potential candidates, such as:
an HR licence (HC even better!)
ability to pass regular random drug and alcohol screens
a clear National Police Clearance
the ability to pass a Commercial Heavy Vehicle Driver's medical
Successful candidates will need to supply 100 points of ID, such as a passport or birth certificate, current driver's licence, and bank cards.
All new employees at VPHC start on a casual basis for a 3 month probation period. Permanent employment is usually offered after a successful probation and performance review.
We aim to offer remuneration at the top end of the local market for the type of work we do.
The work we do for our clients is not mining - we aren't dump truck loaders. Our team of operators are multi-talented people who love a challenge and aren't afraid to get dirty, work alone in remote places, jump from one machine to another, to another, to another... and above all else be a part of a close-knit and friendly team.
We're not tough guys, and we welcome anyone who has the skills to do the work.
